6 Products I Cannot Live Without

This new blog post is going to be on 6 products that I cannot live without! I have used these products for a long time and they have never disappointed me, hopefully after reading this blog you will try out some of these products and leave comments on the post or on instagram about them :)

1. So the first product that I ABSOLUTELY cannot leave without is the MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer! Ok so, if you google this product you will see mixed opinions on it but I literally swear by this product! I love the creamy consistency of it and how thick the concealer is because it covers up my dark circles so well. I have tried various different concealers from Bobbi Brown and MAC but they just don't do a good job of covering my dark circles. Even when I don't put any make up on I still use this! If you do have dark circles I would suggest trying this product:)

2. The second product would have to be the Bobbi Brown SPF 15 Tinted moisturiser. I've mentioned in a previous post that I am not a fan of foundation, I will use it when going out to parties etc but never during the day! This tinted moisturiser gives me enough coverage for the day and it also gives me a nice natural glow! I have been using this for just under a year and I still love it! I've had no problems with it.

3. They're real mascara by Benefit is by faaaarrr the best mascara I have ever used!! I find that when I use this my eyelashes don't clump together and they look so long even after one coat! The good thing about this mascara is that it is build able so you can apply layer after layer to build up the length of your eyelashes and it is so easy to apply because of the shape of the brush!   Definitely worth every penny!:)

4. The fourth product has to be my MAC bronzer. I originally first bought this in "Refined golden" but i just didn't like the shimmer in the bronzer! It made it look like I had dirty skin which is NEVER a good look :) so I purchased it in matte bronze and oh em geee I love it so much!! It goes so well with my skin tone and its so good to use for contouring!!

5. The fifth product is my Bobbi Brown Natural Brow Shaper Gel! It basically does what the name says! It shapes your eyebrows so well and makes them look instantly tidy and even though its a clear gel, it does give the effect that your eyebrows are darker than normal. I would definitely recommend getting this product, it saves you having to pencil in your eyebrows.

6. The last product is my Urban Decay Eye Shadow Palette. My brother got me this 2 christmases ago and I have been obsessed with it ever since!:) I always saw people talking about it on YouTube so I really wanted to try it. If you haven't already I seriously recommend it. There are so many different colour combinations and it comes with a free eyeliner(in the US) and a free brush (In the UK). The neutral shades are so good for everyday looks and they are so so easy to blend!

Thanks for reading :)

Quick MAC + Smashbox Haul

Ok so I just wanted to make a quick haul post on what I ordered from MAC Cosmetics and Smashbox. They literally only came yesterday morning so I haven't had chance to try them on but I will review some of the items in future blog posts! Keep reading to find out about the products :)

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Foundation// MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft And Gentle// MAC Paintpot in Painterly// MAC Matte Lipstick in Kinda Sexy// MAC Blush in Peachykeen

1. Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer: I bought this for £25.00, I've been meaning to buy this product for ages because I always hear people raving about it. I'm not a big fan of foundation so I bought this to try with tinted moisturiser and BB cream!! The primer is meant to increase longevity, reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores! I'm thinking of wearing this product on half of my face for the day and taking pictures so we can compare the differences!

2. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish: £21.50. I really wanted to try this product because I always see makeupbycamilla use this on youtube! I got the colour in "Soft and Gentle" because the other ones looks a bit TOO much for me and I didn't want it too be too noticeable. I bought this to use for highlighting my face and to add some extra shimmer to my day and night looks:)

3. MAC Painterly Paintpot: £14.50. I have purchased this item in the past but I've had it for so long that it was starting to dry out. I love this product because you're basically paying for a 2-in-1, it doubles up as a primer (that really works) and just a creamy eyeshadow! Its really good for putting as a primer because it makes eyeshadows stand out more! Sooo good to just pop on for everyday looks because of its neutral colour.

4. MAC Matte Lipstick in Kinda Sexy: This cost me £14.00. I originally saw this in one of makeupbycamilla's youtube tutorial so I thought it must be good! I've been loooking for a nice pinky-nude lipstick that won't wash me out and I fell in love with this shade!! Perfect for wearing everyday. The only thing that I'm worried about is the matte finish of this product, I tend to have dry lips and this will NOT help!!

5. MAC Blush in Peachykeen: £17.50. When I saw this product online I thought it was going to be lighter than it turned out to be! Thats the problem with buying things online, you never know what you're buying!!! The colour is fairly similar to NARS Orgasm blush so Im planning on doing a comparison post soon! I love how this blush shimmers!!

PS. it looks darker on the close up because i added flash!:) I'd say it looks more like the closeup picture because it is a lot more pink than orange.
Hope you enjoyed reading! Please spread the word of this blog!! I will be uploading posts regularly :)

June Wishlist

Helllo there!
Ook so the start of a new month usually means that a lot of us have just been paid!! Paid=Money=Spending!! There are so many things i want to buy in the month of June but i've already spent most of my money :( boooo! I have decided to share it with you guys as i love seeing other peoples wishlists so i thought some of you might too :)

Topshop MOTO Acid Blue Joni Jeans//Zara Sandal with Metallic Detail//MAC Sushi Kiss//Marc by Marc Jacobs Katie Bunny Iphone 4 Case//Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Foundation//Zara Leather Jacket with Covered Studs//MAC Fiery Impact Extra Dimension Blush

1. Topshop MOTO Acid Blue Joni Jeans: £36.00. Now that summer is here I really want a pair of light skinny jeans that will go with lots of pastels and white coloured clothes. I usually wear leggings or black jeans so these are quite nice and different for me:)

2. Zara Sandal with Metallic Detail: £59.99. I am literally IN LOVE with these sandals! I love anything thats black and gold so when i saw these on the Zara website i immediately fell in love but i cant justify paying that amount for more shoes that i probably don't even need!

3. MAC Sushi Kiss: £14.00. Ok so I love the new mac collection "All About Orange" and I just loveeeee the lipstick in sushi kiss. It is such a perfect shade for summer and it's quite unique aswell Sadly they're out of stock on the website and eBay is selling them for more money than i can afford right now!!

4. Marc by Marc Jacobs Katie Bunny Iphone 4 Case: £40.00. The colour of this case is just amazing and the design is just so unique but the price is too expensive in my opinion for a phone case:(

5. Diorskin Nude Foundation: £32.00. I have heard nothing but good things about this baby!! I cant wait to try it and review it in the future. Definitely on the top of my wish list.

6. Zara Leather Jacket with Covered Studs: £169.00. I've never had a leather jacket that I love! The one i currently have is from river island and it just doesnt suit my figure so i definitely need to pur-chaseee one soon!! I love the stud detailing on this zara one.

7. MAC Fiery Impact Extra Dimension Blush: £19.00. The texture of these blushes are amazing and i would definitely recommend this to all of you! Especially this colour for summer :)

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Review: MAC Myth Satin Lipstick Review + Swatches

Hey guys!

In this post I will be reviewing one of MAC's classic lipsticks called Myth! This lipstick kept making appearances in youtube tutorials and I have heard a lot about this lipstick so of course, I had to order one!

Pictures:

Ok so on the MAC Website the lipstick is described as a "Light Neutral Nude" and when looking at pictures on google it does look like a light neutral nude but when looking at the top left picture it does look a lot darker. This may be due to the lighting in the room but when I tried it on for the first time I was in love with the colour! I had my doubts at first because the colour appeared so light!! Because my lips are quite dark anyway and my skin is naturally quite tanned it didn't wash me out which was my main worry. Overall I would say that this lipstick is more of a light peachy colour than a light neutral nude.

TIP: Try putting some lip balm underneath the lipstick with a small amount of concealer to    get the true colour of this stick!

I was glad when I found out that this lipstick had a satin finish because my lips are naturally very dry so I didn't want this to dry them out even more! Due to its creamy consistency, my lips didn't feel dry after hours of having this lipstick on which I thought was one of the best things about this product! Usually if I was buying MAC matte lipsticks I would add some lip balm before applying the lipstick because it dries your lips sooo much!! The satin finish to me is a mixture between a cremesheen and a matte lipstick, its not as dry as a matte lipstick.
I was amazed at how well this lasted on me! This lipstick stays put for a good 4 to 6 hours which is perfect if you're going out :-) The only downfall to this product is that it can be a risky choice of lipstick for some people, especially those with a light skin tone! I will be creating a post on how to make nude lipsticks work in the future so keep your eye out for that!!
This lipstick costs £14.00 and can be bought on the MAC Website, Selfridges, eBay and many other shops! Personally i think that this lipstick is worth the money because its cheap, works with my skin tone, good formula and its one of those lipsticks you can just quickly put on and it will go with every outfit! Howeverrr, with that been said I think MAC have brought out nicer lipstick shades than myth.

Nail Art: Easy To Do Cupcake Nails

Read this post to find out how to achieve these cupcake nails!

Ive decided to do a nail tutorial as my first post. Last year i came across this design on youtube and thought i would try it. And i received so many compliments on this design so i wanted to share it.

To start this nail tutorial you will need:

  • Red Nail Polish (can be glittery)
  • White Nail Polish
  • Minimum of 2 Pastel Nail Polishes
  • Base Coat
  • Top Coat
  • 1 bobby pin
1. Ok so to start off with you need to paint all nails with a base coat. This will stop the nail varnish from staining your nails however this step is optional and will work without the base coat.

2. Next you will need to paint all your nails in a pastel nail polish. This will be the "case" of your cupcake! When doing this nail design I like to pick different colours for each nail just to make them stand out even more. The colours don't necessarily need to be pastel, it is completely up to you! Leave this to dry for at least 5 minutes so that when you apply the white polish it wont mix with the nail polish that hasn't dried.

3. Using the white nail polish apply three lines onto the top half of the nail this will help you achieve the scallop edges, then join up any missing spaces. Leave this to dry for another 5 minutes.

4. Dip the end of the bobby pin in red nail polish and paint on a small red circle on the end of each nail. This will be the "cherry" on the top.

5. Using the colours you used for the base of the nail, you can use the bobby pin to add small dots so that your cupcakes have sprinkles. Leave to dry for 5 minutes.

6. Finally go over your nails with a top coat so that the design lasts longer :-)

P.S: The reason why my nails look different is because this picture was taken last year, i just wanted to include it in the post so you could see how it turns out!

Hope you enjoy!!

If anyone tries this out, please post a picture on instagram and include the hashtag #allthingssnazzy I would loooveeee to see them!!
